I considered this topic and made what I call a multitasker. As seen in the photos, it holds a ring, a watch, my cell phone and other small items that often clutter up the island in my kitchen. A Real Multitasker!!!!
There is a lot going on in this video: spindle turning as well as face plate turning with some interesting chucking methods. Thanks Tomislav for this idea.
