Sam employs a procedure for reverse-chucking a bowl by using a drive block. Drive blocks can be attached to a scroll chuck, a screw chuck, or to a waste block. In this video, Sam uses a 1 1/4" Beall tap to form internal threads that attach the drive block directly to the spindle on your lathe. See his process for using the tap and find out what he learned along the way. Heads Up!!! Watch my video "Notes from the Turning Shop" on Sunday August 22, 2021 Another giveaway. Don't miss it.
