Materials Box Elder Burl wood, wood Description This pen has been made using an Apprentice Roadster style pen kit. The burl wood is Box Elder, which is in the maple family. Care has been taken to apply several layers of color into the wood and then sealed with a super glue (cyanoacrylate) and friction polish finish.
